Hongkong telegram No. 52 to Canton.

Air Attaché asked Ministry of Marine and Army General

Staff to ensure that their existing orders to obviate

violation of territory by aircraft were observed.

Both services voice doubts that suspected aircraft

are theirs but are undertaking immediate investigation and

action to prevent recurrence of such incidents.

Addressed to Foreign Office telegram No.372 of May 2nd,

repeated to Shanghai telegram No.291 and Hongkong telegram

No.71 (Hongkong please pass to Canton as my telegram No.23).
